Your Donations at Work
The Michael J. Dias Foundation is a charitable non-profit 501c3 organization. Our mission is to aid and educate individuals and families on substance abuse and help those that are battling the disease of addiction. Our foundation is comprised of a volunteer Board of Directors and foundation members.
The organization is owned and operated by the foundation and none of its members receive payment for
their services of any kind.
The men in our sober homes pay a nominal weekly fee while a resident. These fees pay for the day to day operational costs of running a house (e.g. utilities, common supplies, drug testing, etc.). The capital costs (maintenance, improvements, etc) of running these houses, as well as the salaries of our employees (e.g. house directors) are paid for through the foundation’s fundraising efforts.
Additionally, the foundation pays for and supports the materials used in the education side of our mission.
How Can You Help?

- The foundation members and others within the MJD foundation family will sponsor other fundraisers throughout the year. Please keep an eye out on our website and social media for your chance to participate or donate as part of these events.
